We will be holding 3 free self evaluation workshops for approved projects. The purpose of the workshops will be to:

• Ensure projects understand the M&E requirements of the Parks for People programme
• Introduce the monitoring and evaluation framework and guidance developed by Hall Aitken
• Provide advice and guidance on collecting baseline data for each outcome and setting appropriate targets
• Provide advice on collecting qualitative monitoring data

The workshops will be a mixture of formal training, combined with participatory exercises to embed learning. These workshops will be full day events, with an opportunity for one to one 'clinic' discussions at the end of the day for any projects wishing to ask any specific questions.

The workshops will be held on the following dates:

• Tuesday 8th November 2011 - HLF offices, Newcastle-upon-Tyne
• Thursday 24th November 2011 - HLF offices, London
• Wednesday 8th February 2012 - HLF offices, Birmingham

All workshops will run from 10am to 4pm. We urge you to attend one of these sessions. Places are limited so bookings will be on a first come, first served basis. We also ask that only one person attend per project.
