Monitoring
and Evaluation Support
A key element of Parks for People is to introduce more effective
systems to monitor and evaluate the impact of park regeneration
projects.
The Hall Aitken
team, supported by Community First Partnership, has been appointed
by HLF and BIG to support individual projects in completing their
monitoring and evaluation. Our team will be in regular contact with
projects and will provide workshops and clinics to offer additional
support.
The team can
be contacted directly at projects@parksforpeople.co.uk
or phone 0161 212 1100.

New Programme
Requirements
The Green Flag Award requirement for the programme has been increased
from 5 to 7 years, starting after practical completion of capital
works.
See www.greenflagaward.org.uk
for information and current list of award winners.
HLF has also
confirmed that baseline visitor surveys (Greenstat) are required
by the 2nd Round of applications. Although Greenstat membership
is not a programme requirement, Parks for People can support Greenstat

costs. Further details of Greenstat can be found at www.greenstat.org.uk/
