Greenspace
The registered charity GreenSpace is at the forefront of the nationwide vision to help ensure that all local gardens, parks and green spaces are easily accessible, individually attractive and can match the needs and requirements of the local community and future generations. Moreover, through the sharing of information, monitoring park management and helping to improve parks, it is anticipated that these "greenspaces" will be sustainable, bio-diverse and environmentally important.

GreenSTAT
Is a data method, developed by GreenSpace, whereby local residents and visitors to parks, gardens and greenspaces are given the opportunity to voice their opinions, thoughts and concerns regarding the "greenspace". The nationwide database provides the local councils and organisations who manage the "greenspaces" with detailed feedback and the information needed to ensure a better quality of "greenspace".

Greenflag Awards
The Green Flag Awards are a scheme aimed at assessing the quality of local parks and "greenspaces" in England and Wales. The award marks particular criteria required for a fun, accessible and environmentally sustainable "greenspace". Criteria such as access, safety and security issues, local community involvement and park management are assessed and awards given accordingly. The notion of the awards is to help create a network of award-winning parks setting out cases of best practice and benchmarking.
